Membership of the IBF is by application to the Board, and this must be proposed and seconded by two existing members. Membership runs from the 1st of January to the 31st of December, and annual fees are charged at the beginning of each calendar year. Companies joining during the course of the year will be charged a quarterly pro-rata membership amount.
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
- Name and logo on the IBF website
- Link from the IBF website to the company’s own web pages
- Invitations to exclusive events, such as speaker dinners, seminars and workshops – note that in 2022, many IBF events will be ‘member-only’.
- Attendance at networking and social events at membership rates (usually about 50% of non-membership rate)
- Membership certificate
- Participation in the successful IBF Mentoring Programme if required

PARTNERSHIP
The IBF offers ‘partnership’ level membership for those companies that would like to get a little bit more from their membership. In addition to regular membership benefits, partners receive:
- Their logo in the list of partners at the base of every page on the website
- Their logo on all invitations to events and other marketing materials (advertising of events, etc)
- Preferential invitation to speak at seminars and workshops as appropriate
- Their own promotional materials at specific events
- An invitation to join the IBF board as and when a space becomes available
